Ki ora! I'm Epro1215. I come from a small city in the South Island of New Zealand. Oxer says I'm too formal, but I think it stems from my love for writing. I want to share one of my favourite quotes: "Everybody has talent, it's just a matter of moving around until you've discovered what it is". The reason why I fell in love with that quote is that there was a period of my life when I was just a blank slate, and knowing that there was something out there for me really helped me through it. When I discovered my passion for writing, I was already 10, going on to 11, which is not late, but I felt like I was just a blank canvas, and discovering my joy for writing was like a dream come true. During this age of my life, I blossomed; I fell in love with Jazz and Laufey and by the time I got to high school, my character was defined enough that I could plan my future. I love communication; it's one of my favourite things to do. I love public speaking, and some would call me a natural leader. I've joined the school council, and I love starting conversations with people I barely know. If I asked, people would describe me as a good listener and a very good person to talk to. But again, there was a time in my life when I was... the weird kid, if you will. The one who was friends with the teachers and only hung out with the teachers. Of course, I still do love my mentors, but fellowships with my peers are critical to both my personal growth and social standing. My growth during this time was immense, and I'm so grateful my parents took the steps necessary to help me grow. Love you, Mum and Dad.
